Welcome to all Fledglings!

Hi there!
I am ~crueltyinpoetry Proud founder of the official DA Anne Rice group!
I will be assisted by the talented ~Libellula & ~omri!

Now this is a very open group about Anne Rice and her wonderful work so feel free to post any form of art whether it be digital, traditional, photography or written! info about our protocol is in our [link] (FAQ)

Be warned, as some of you may know, Anne is not very comfortable with Fanpics so proceed with caution!

Feel free to discuss about anything Anne related such as favorite characters, symbols, emotions felt, etc etc!
I for one have read all her Vampire, Witching and have read the first of the Songs of the Seraphim so feel free to talk about any of these novels and I will be more than happy to jump in!

I will probably post up thoughts and analysis about my favorite books eventually! Feel free to do the same!

All I ask is for you all to be open minded and not to judge the other members! I don't want any hate or prejudicial remarks in this group!

Lestat Saves Louis Pt 2 Lestat Saves Louis Pt 2

Louis was too weak to get home, Lestat had to carry him there, and though Louis said nothing else to Lestat during the trip home, Lestat felt heavy weights of guilt fall on his shoulders. Louis was right, where was Lestat when Louis needed him most, Louis was in pain, Louis was crying, Louis was screaming his name, screaming for help, and Lestat didn't come. This was Armand's fault Lestat had thought to make himself feel a little better and less of fault, but no, it didn't help, a horrible thought came to Lestat, more guilt fell on him when he thought it was Louis's fault, Lestat had wanted to go with him, to protect Lestat Saves Louis Pt 2 by ~tiny-french-vampire
Lestat I put down the book,
Taken from upon my softly breathing chest
And slide from the covers fully dressed in black,
Crucifixes emblazoned in chains about me,
As I step half-waking into a dim world.

Upon my ivory skin grazes no mark,
But my blood beats different within me.
You can't see it but I know.
I slip into the room with this high mirror,
And see reflected someone whom I wish not to be.

The words ring clear in my head
Yet I could not speak them if I tried.
I sit inside this painted room, surrounded by mortals
Who like I dine on empty plates,
The meaning to them lost.

A dead heart beats inside this dead body,
And I forego my Lestat by ~Zethian

Louis was scared again. Lately Lestat had been going off on great tantrums, and it had scared Louis. At times Lestat had just yelled, at times he would break things, but sometimes he would resort to hurting Louis, physically. Almost every time, these tantrums came up over little things, an annoying sound for instance. Louis of course didn't like it, he hated it, but above all things, he was terrified of it. Louis knew that there was something behind it, something that Lestat wasn't telling him, at one point he had asked, and Lestat had yelled.
These tantrums had started two weeks ago, since then, the Lestat and LouisDon't leave me Louis.... by ~tiny-french-vampire

Is there anybody going to the London MCM Expo in May on the Sunday who wants to be part of a Vampire Chronicles group/shoot? We have a Louis and a Claudia, and would love anyone else! (except you have to be taller than 5 foot 3 to be taller than Claudia and preferably of the same build as the character)
